Oh, this old, handmade Alsacienne soupière. We could stare at it for hours. Those colors, those hand-painted flowers. So old and worn, yet oh so beautiful. You can simply set the bowl down somewhere and leave it like that, or you can use it to serve soup or vegetables. The lid is a rarity, as those are often the first to break.
The 'soupière ' is 18cm high and has a diameter at its convex point of 23cm
